Pastor Barnhill after many years of preaching as an evangelist, had a vision to open a church in the West Mobile/Semmes/Wilmer area. The beginning of that vision was over 25 years ago, when Solid Rock was born, and is still an atmosphere of praise today.

Pastor Micah and Rebecca Mizell have been our youth pastors for over 6 years and have put a new face on our youth ministry! GLOW Youth Ministry (God Leading Our Way) is a great place to spend your Thursday evenings if you are from 6th - 12th grade or Ages 12-19.

Wesley and Taylor Floyd have served as our Children's Pastors for multiple years and have continued to prepare kids for future ministries, by teaching them the word of God in a fun, and exciting way!
